We had Christmas Day today Ordered venison goulash with dumplings and red cabbage and ordered goose leg. It was top notch 😍, tender meat in a perfect sauce, with homemade dumplings, you couldn't do it better 😀. In addition, everything is very plentiful and all of this at reasonable prices. Highly recommended 👍

Yesterday we were at the "gobs", we ate goose leg with bread dumplings and red cabbage, schnitzel with porcini mushrooms and pork schnitzel with paprika sauce, croquettes and salad. Everything fresh and in very good quality. The matching, regional wines and of course beer. One can be glad that such an inn still exists in Heidesheim.

What a great evening. Mega food !!!! Are due to recommendations on tripadvisor after an event on the nearby kart track & all expectations were more than exceeded !!! Whether soup & Handkäs as an appetizer, goose leg, Schnitzel in various variants, pork medallions or rumpsteak ... everything was supermegaleckerschmecker !!!! Also worth a visit without an event !!! Family, rustic & super friendly ambience. Fast service, great wine selection. An all-round successful conclusion of a great day with great friends.

Cozy restaurant, informal and friendly atmosphere. Home cooking - nutmeg you can taste. This was unusual for me, as previously garlic, pepper, salt was common in the food. I will, because of the "Father Rhine" again try other dishes.

Cozy little restaurant. Owner-managed. German dishes - specialty: Meatloaf with a decent onion sauce. If the weather is right, you can sit well in the yard and have your "Schoppe petze". You will be served properly and courteously. Also good as a destination after a bike ride.

Service friendly, ambience quaint, local guests, food okay but not outstanding. Schnitzel look like they are not homemade, but shopped frozen. Salad dressing tastes like Knorr yoghurt dressing. Paprika sauce for schnitzel did not have any paprika pieces in it, but was a homogeneous cottage sauce. Quality was really okay and solid, but the current ratings with 4.7 do not quite reflect the reality.

Very good and delicious food and very friendly. I'd like to come back.
